A youth-led journey of personal development and creative collaboration, growing together with young changemakers across Yangon.

Su Way Yar (meaning “A Gathering Place” in Burmese) is a youth-led organization founded in 2025 by passionate young people who met through the Myanmar YMCA’s SDSYE Youth Camps.
We created Su Way Yar as a vibrant, welcoming space where like-minded youth can learn, connect, and grow together.
Every program of SWY is designed to blend structured growth with open creative expression, giving every participant space to learn, connect, grow and have fun together.
In late 2026, we are expanding our journey into environmental action! Through our Green Wave project, young people actively contribute to protecting nature, planting trees, and reducing waste through exciting community challenges.
An interactive space where young people shape their own growth by mastering essential life skills: Empathy Building, Resilience, Problem Solving, Goal Setting, Financial Management and Relationship Management.
Fun, interactive gatherings like movie days and creative activities where youth contribute their energy to build meaningful connections and collaborate with peers.

Su Way Yar's first Youth Eco-Facilitator Workshop trained 16 young people to lead environmental sessions in their communities.
